Then they go on to say in their one way conversation with their brain, "I have to get this right the first time. I am too important to find myself walking in circles. I need to get to the next part of my adventure." And then the best of the best, or the worst of the worst depending on how you look at it, will say to themselves, "There are so many people counting on me. I can't screw this up. If I don't get there on time, everything is going to fall apart. Too many people need me. I can't screw this up. Now, what path to chose? Which one? Gosh darn it, why is this so hard? I need to do this NOW!"
Ah, yes. The classic, "I must do this NOW." Similar, and honestly on an energy level almost identical to, " I can't screw this up. I'm the only one that can figure this out. They need me to be my best. I should have already figured this out. Gosh darn it, why I am I so stupid and slow. I'm not going to succeed."
Yep. That's right saying, "I need to do this right NOW-this very second, or the world is going to die," sends the same frequency of light into the air as, "I am a complete mess, and there is now way I am ever going to be successful."
Yep. Placing a time limit on yourself, being impatient, stressing your body out, pushing it too hard to fast, leads to failure. The end. Simple lesson.
But for some silly reason I have a feeling you are not going to believe me. Well, then less go back to this road scenario:
You are out on the road. Maybe you are 29 or so. Your wondering what you should be doing next. You feel insignificant because you aren't on the same life path as the rest of your peers. You feel like you are lacking something. That you haven't really begun to live or experience anything. You know that you are meant to do great things, and you are 100% right, you are. You are meant to fly and float, and love and live, and give comfort and guidance and praise and hope and light, all over the place. You are meant to be a man of the people. You are meant to wake people up. You know this to be an absolute truth. So, know all you have to do is figure out how to get there.
Dun, dun, dun....

And that is how you set yourself up to fail everytime you fill yourself with expectations of who you should be, where you should be and what you should be doing.
My loves, my lights, my beautiful, beautiful friends you SHOULD be doing nothing. You are DOING everything. If you feel like you are moving too slow, then your brain is probably moving too fast.
Where are you now? Why are you now? And what path is calling to you? Because my Little Lights of Planet Earth, guess what. All roads lead to Rome, all roads lead yo your soul, your destiny, your purpose. So what does that mean?
It means when you come to a moment where your brain believes there are choices to be made, slow your brain down. Tell it that there is no wrong answer, and even if there was it doesn't matter because your heart knows the way. You're heart knows where you need to go to get home. So ask it. Ask your heart, not "what way is the quickest?" but "what way will get me there, with the most joy and laughter, with the most heartache and pain, and with the most revelation of my true self?" Because baby that's what is all about!
Listen to your heart and slow down your brain, and remember never hold any shame.
