Final thought for the evening. Heard and typed:
Safety.
Stay safe.
Stay sane.
Stay smiling.
Don't give into the panic.
Breathe and release.
Remember where you strength lies.
Remember that you have all that you need.
I know that in the middle of chaos that it is hard to remain calm.
When there is so much disruption and destruction around us, we mirror it, we let it fill our souls.
Don't.
Be a light bearer. Don't be a reflection of the outside world. Be a light bearer. Allow yourself to be a image for the outside world to portray and refine.
The Negative has a harsher, sharper pull. It is frenzied. It is swirling and twirling. It is easy to get sucked in. It is often a quick decent downward, but we think of raising our vibrations and being as a step by step program. We do it gradually, with pride, dignity and respect to ourselves. We want to feel each of the steps to calm and glory. We want to feel it build in or body and spirit and mind.
Build ourself slowly, and let the inward light burst out. Give the chaos, the storm, the energy that destroys, the ability to settle step by step, calmly, alone. Don't feed into the destruction with fear. Just let it go.
Hurricanes and other natural disasters are hard to understand. Why would God be so cruel? Why would he kill so many? War may be the fault of human beings, but tornados certain are not!
Energy is energy is energy.
A tornado is not bad if it cuts through an open field. It balances the air streams. It puts electrons back in order. It causes other tornados to be less severe. A thunderstorm releases chemicals that plants and animals need to survive. A storm is not just destructive for destruction's sake. It's about balance.
Wise men used to listen to Earth, and know when it was about to take action to balance itself. They planned according. The made sure their families, and loved ones, and neighbors were safe. The lived life in harmony with Mother Earth. They spoke to her, and she spoke back.
I am sorry for the pain that this hurricane has caused. I am sorry for the fear and guilt, and pain and sorrow. I did not want to destroy anything. This is just how energy works.
Let me teach you how to listen again. So that all may remain safe. Let me teach you how to prioritize again, so that all life may be protected.
I have not left you my friends, my family, my loves. I am simply staying true to the path, to the energy. I am following was has been in motion for decades and eons, upon eons. You can't change the path of a hurricane, but you can act accordingly.
I love you. I have not left you and this is not a punishment. This is the natural way of the world.
Breathing Love into the world of spiritual activism. Voices and Truth to keep us all going and growing.

You Aren't Meant to Float Away
Heard this evening:
- Close your eyes.
- Imagine that you are on a roller coaster.
- Put your arms up in the air as you crawl slowly to the top.
- Breathe.
- Imagine that you are at the top.
- Breathe.
- Then feel as gravity and steel pull you towards the Earth.
It pulls down at your feet. It pulls down at your ankles. It even pushes away your socks from your grass stained tennis shoes, just a bit, to make sure that you ankles are in fact pulled downward. It pulls at your knees, your guts, your chest, your throat, your eyes, your nose, your ears. Your face feels as if it is going to peel off. It wants so badly to be on the ground. And then your head. The energy of the force above, below, around, and through you, pulls at your scalp. It pulls you downward.
You aren't meant to float away.
That is today's lesson.
You are here on this rocky, lush, delicious, deciduous, conifer-ific planet for a reason. You were given a body for a reason. You were given feet, legs, arms, and noses for a reason. Do not, I repeat, do not separate your soul, your purpose, you life, your laughter from your body.
Use your body to express Yourself, use your body to express Love, use your body to express Me, God.
I hate that so many of my beautiful creatures separate their worship from their body. They use their body in blasphemous ways. Each arch of the eyebrow, each raise of the hand, each throw of a dart should be used to bless Me. You should move in praise, in celebration, in understanding, in compassion, in commitment, in inquiry.
You should move in quick steps, slow pondering scuffles. You should move in gentle thrusts and kind embraces. You should move in rushes and surges of strength and dignity and hope. You should play and wonder with the hopping motion of a pogo stick. You should type with liveliness, intention, purpose, and the desire to heal.
But why do so many of you stand with dis-ease, hide behind podiums, sneak in back doors? Why do so many of you hit and punch with anger and rage? Why do so many wake and sneeze with disgust? Why do so many of you lie with another, and touch them with such disgust and bitterness in your heart.
If an action doesn't make you feel alive, purposeful, peaceful and pure. Don't do it.
If an action makes your body ache, creek, or go kaput. Don't do it.
There are times when your journey needs you to experience pain, darkness and discomfort. There are times when you need to feel another's pain or the energy that you put into motion. But this is not so that you may suffer. It is only so that you can say, "No. I will not honor Myself in this fashion. I will not honor You in this fashion. I will not honor God in this fashion."
If it doesn't feel right, if it breaks your heart, if you feel like you are separated from yourself, and you can not even comprehend how you could be capable of such a horrendous, rude, or vindictive act, it means that your higher-self, your God-self, your Christ-light, knows that the real you is not. So, don't do it.
Now, now, now I know that life is not that simple. There are rules, and bills to pay, and people to serve, and debts to pay back. Don't do it.
I know the pattern well. Break it.
And for those of you who say, "Oh well yes, that is fine and dandy for a first world citizen of privilege and wealth."
I say, "If it feels wrong. It is wrong. And this is a Universal Law. I will call it the Law of Innate Knowing."
And for those of you how say, "People are not smart enough of peaceful enough to know right from wrong without rules and laws."
I say, "Shut your mouth. Stop talking. And breathe. Did you have to be taught to do that? No. It is innate. Then why is it so hard to believe that your body can tell the difference between right and wrong, and true and untrue? If it can figure out how to know when air is needed to fill it's lungs; when there is not enough oxygen for it's precious cells, or too much pollutants for it's various organs; why do we give this little machine that you spend so much time styling and reshaping, so little credit?"
Your body, mind, and soul act as one. Your body will tell you when your are straying from your calling. Some will call it nerves. Others will call it hysterics. And others will try to fix it with medicines and altercations of other sorts. It will only mask the aches, the pains, the pins and needles. Your body is saying "Don't do it." Listen to it, don't muffle it's cries.
This all being said, you can use my medicines to get you back to your base level. I didn't create them for nothing, folks. But use them to get to a point where you can take care of yourself. Where you can face the cries of, "Don't do it." Use them to gain control. Use them to gain safety. But don't use them to hide. I say this because even the Universe needs a disclaimer. I gave you everything you need to protect yourself and create the life you deserve. Unfortunately, I also gave you all of those things knowing they could be used to destroy yourselves as well.
Yours, Ours, and Theirs, Always and Forever,
Your Body, Mind and Soul

Twice As Nice
Learned this afternoon, through a very interesting two way conversation:

Me: Time is circular, huh? What on Earth does that even mean?
God: Twice as nice.
It means a lot of things.
It means that the seasons follow a cyclical pattern. That life goes back into the Earth to be born again. It means that nothing can be created or destroyed. It means that every thing is recycled and reused entirely. Even though sometimes this process can take centuries, decades, or eons. It means that that everything can run through or past you, but can never escape. It means that everything is twice as nice.
Me: What on Earth does that mean? You do realize, that sometimes you leave me with less answers than I come to you with; just so you know.
God: I know. And I enjoy watching the gears in your head twirl. I enjoy it when you realize you are left speechless because it means that you are opening yourself up for new information, new knowledge. Every time you are utterly confused, you sigh, roll your eyes, and say "Okay, I'm ready. Fill me in. I will let go of some of my prejudice." But you also make it perfectly clear that you are stubborn and bull headed, and that even if you understand it this time around, and accept it as truth that you will need me to explain it once again. This is perfectly acceptable because even if you lose it, you work hard to eventually solidify it and hold it as truth.
So, yes, twice as nice means that you are able to part of the circle of life. The circle of time. You feel the excitement and freedom and hope and promise when a loved one is born (You also feel this at the time of your own birth, but few of us remember). And then you get to feel the same excitement, freedom, hope and promise as you pass on to the next life. It is part of the circle; life and "re-life" meet.
It means that when one opportunity "passes you by" because you weren't ready for it-- you know like that great job that you wanted so much, but didn't have the confidence to take or even apply for--it means that it will come back again. And hopefully you are together enough to work hard after the first time you see it to pull it together, so that the next time you are prepared. It means that even though you screwed it up the second time too, that it will come back around a third time, and a forth. Time is circular. You growth is exponential.

It means that love will always come back to you. Did you forget to apologize after that last fight? And now it seems that there is no opportunity to slip it in, to face it, to take responsibility for your actions. Is the air to thick? Is your brother, who you called unworthy of the family name, still too closed to listen to you? Don't run away, as if your time is up. The cycle will come and the door will open again.
Time is circular. That means that there is time for patience, stillness, and prayer. Time is circular, if you feel like it is the wrong time to act, it means that the right time will come.
If you feel like you are stuck in the "winter of your soul" fear not because spring is around the corner.
Time is circular, and that my Dear Ones is my eternal blessing.
Peace, Love, Amen.

How Not to Be a Zombie
Known Today:
Life is short. Well, that was obvious. So, why do we spend so much time wondering when it actually begins?
Does it begin at first breath? Does it begin the first day of kindergarten when we leave our parents care? Does begin at that very moment of our first kiss? Perhaps marriage? No, wait I've heard many say it actually happens after that first divorce!
Life starts the moment that we start living.
I am the worst at being a living human being, when it comes down to it. I've spent most of my life, walking, talking and adjourning. I am better a being a zombie than an actual human being.
Now, don't get me wrong I've had those moments when I am fully alive. I feel the sensation of a cute guy smiling at me from across the room. I feel and smell the playfulness of a late autumn rain. And like all of us, I've had those moments of Deja Vu that tell me I'm in the exact place, at the exact time, doing the exact thing I've already done once before. Could it simply be because I planned it that way? Could it simply be that it is one of those road markers on my journey, and my soul is just telling me, "Hello, My Dear One. You look absolutely stunning today, and yes you are right where you belong"?
Probably.
But most people would say I'm simply reading in to things, or maybe that I've done something similar before; or better yet "a friend, relative, sibling or parent described a similar experience that they had once and you are confusing their memory with yours."
I don't know about you, but I like to think that even if my mind is not as sharp as some, that my body and heart can tell my experiences from someone else's.
But yes, life is short. So we must live. I wish I knew how to do that. But I have a few suggestions, that were given to me tonight. So, I will share them with you.
From Love, to all of us:
1.) Breathe more- Not these silly little, "Please Lord keep me alive" breaths. No, BREATHE. Let the Universe fill your lungs and ground you in the present. Feel the sensation of Earth energy flowing through your body. You are more than just a mind. Breathing helps remind you of this.
2.) Practice makes perfect, but sometimes you just need to preform- Allow others to see you at your less than perfect self. Allow others to see what you are working on. Let them in to enjoy your journey. Even if it is messy, it is still beautiful and unique. Show others what you are made of, even if it is more questions than answers.
3.) Pretend more- This is where all of that self-visualization comes in, or that horrible phrase "fake it, 'til you make it." Now, don't fake anything. But when you pretend you are beautiful and look into the mirror, you begin to see that it is actually true. When you pretend that you are climbing to the top of Mt. Everest, it makes that awesome mountain in your backyard easier to climb. When you sing like you know all of the words, you find out that you actually know most of them. Pretend that you all ready have all that you want, and you will see exactly what it feels like to have it and then have a clearer picture of how to get it.
4.) Understand "Now"- Remember that it is now, not 4AM next Monday hours before that report is due, and it isn't 1986 when you totally flunked that mid-term exam and the teacher yelled at you in front of the cute girl. You are uniquely and distinctly you; here in a precious moment where you get to decided who you are and what you hold on to.
And finally-
5.) Sleep on it- when you feel like a walking, talking brain eating zombie, when you feel like you are not who you are meant to be, or even who you used to be. When you can't recognize yourself in the mirror:
This is what I came to know today. I thank those on the other side who are teaching me these lessons over and over again because even as a medium, I have a thick skull. And I thank you to all of my friends, who have been with me through the past few weeks. We are going to go far. We just have to believe.
We just have to believe in ourselves.

- Tell someone about it (let them in).
- Pretend that you are exactly who you wanted to be, feel the change from that ideal state of being envisioned in your mind, feel the energy flow through your arms, your core, you legs, your mind,
- And then take a nap. Sleep on it. Give yourself permission to stop working on the issue.
- Tell yourself as you fall asleep that this zombie creature is just who you are now, at this moment in time, and give your self permission to kick him out and take back control of your body in the morning.
This is what I came to know today. I thank those on the other side who are teaching me these lessons over and over again because even as a medium, I have a thick skull. And I thank you to all of my friends, who have been with me through the past few weeks. We are going to go far. We just have to believe.
We just have to believe in ourselves.
Naturally Small. Spiritually Gigantic.
Seen today:
An egg. Small. Brown. With a face painted on it. Scrolling through web images. Looking for one that made sense with the message I wanted to bring.
As I was scrolling through images, I was listening to a "channeled" conversation with the Universe from last night. I recorded it, as directed. As I was scrolling away, my eyes caught sight of the eggs and my voice from a monologue I don't fully remember said, "there is, was, and will be egg on [their] face."
It was done. I had found my picture.
Eggs laughing, and eggs crying. Eggs sulking. But not a single egg dying.
Eggs are a symbol of birth, rebirth, and life. Sometimes rebirth comes in the form of joyful, thrill-ful, excitement. Smiles. Laughter. Noise. But sometimes it comes through silent tears. Sadness. Dimness. Sometimes rebirth happens at the moment of death.
I have cried a lot in these past few months. I have felt hollow and unfulfilled.
Do you know what has the power to fill me? The Universe showing me a picture of a smiling egg that captures my thoughts perfectly, just as it whispers to me that "there is egg... on [their] face."
And not the egg of disgrace or misalignment, but the egg of human emotion, the egg of stumbles and falls, the egg of knowledge, the egg of a few good mistakes.
I have to believe when this happens- Synchronistic moments that show me that the whole world is on my side.
I have to hold to this commitment to share the world of creation and justice that is just waiting to unfold with all of you.
Because Spirit asked me to write, and the World of Spirit is full of useful jokes and visual puns, and just like Sesame Street every funny statement teaches us something about our world and ourselves.
Here are the eggs and the message that comes with them:
For every tear you cry, one seed of compassion is planted.
For every smile you let loose, one ounce of trust and friendship is produced.
And for every sigh of relief that you exhale to the wind, one bucket of rain water is released to wash away all of your doubts and fears.
Cry more, so that you may grow in compassion.
Smile more, so that you may be surrounded by loved ones.
And let go and sigh more, so that your faith in humanity and the beauty of creation and fate can be restored.

Forget What You Were Told, Remember What You Know
Heard this evening:
Why is it so hard to believe? I don't know the answer to this question. But even those who go about holding holy books in the air, being interviewed on talk shows, and praying in pubic over court rulings and legislative decisions have a hard time believing in themselves. Many of them believe in books and teachings and promises of eternal paradise. But not one believes in themselves.
This could be explained away by saying it is because they have been taught from birth that they are sinful, ignorant, and not worthy, but I believe it is deeper than that.
Our culture has taught us that we are separated from God, from Allah, from the Universe. We have been taught that we are individuals, but really we are all pieces of a larger collective. You could use the crummy metaphor of cells in a body, but this doesn't do it justice. Because we imagine cells to be passive. We imagine them to be lifeless, thoughtless, emotionless.
But we are more than cells in a body; we are millions of bodies in a cell.
Or better yet, we are a million stars in a galaxy--- vibrant, explosive, peaceful, shining, but carefully connected to the gravity of the star to our left and right. We burn out at just the right time, slowly or quickly depending on our place. We share energy and force fields, some of us move quickly. Some of us fall. Some of us spin. Some of us die, just as another is being born. Each of us has the same elements, but in different quantities.
Some of us aren't star at all. Some of us are blank spaces- quiet, strong, potent. We hold space, so that other's may shine, but with do it with strength and a quiet grounding. We know our place, our purpose and are proud of it.
Some of us are not ethereal, but grounded. Some of us are not gas, but rock. Planets; we support life, growth, formation. We take the energy of the stars and give it structure, order, purpose. We recycle, we reuse, we reallocate the energy, but we incorporate some of our own.
We are each individuals, but we are all connected.
I haven't spoken anything that is ground breaking, breath taking, or utterly ridiculous. But we must start with the basics.
You are a star, or maybe a planet, or maybe a strong stable incredibly important black space. You are not separate from the laws of physics which show that energy cannot be created or destroyed. Your energy has always been and always will be. You have the power to create many things with your portion of the energetic gift, and can pass on that energy through time in many ways. How you relate and interact with those around you determines the story of youth energetic trail.
You will never be forgotten because you will never leave. You are what you create, and you are what your creations create.
It is hard to believe, but you must. You must believe that your source is not separate from you. You must believe that you are as important, beautiful and majestic as any book or ancient soul. You must believe that you are real, pure and worthy upon birth, and that you can cleanse yourself and free yourself from any past doubts or regrets with just a moment's thought. You must believe that you are God, that you have the power to heal, to build, to create, to understand, to problem solve, to forgive, and to love. If you do not believe that you have the power to save yourself and your friends, then you become victims, drifters, powerless children-- alone and scared always waiting for the day when I make everything better.
I can not make anything better if you refuse to act.
I am you and you are me. I am your heart, your Love that so many of you hide away or hoard for only a few to access. This is me. This your power, this is your star light. I am the Source, but you are the Body. You have the hands to heal. You have the legs to move. You have the arms to lift. So heal your hearts. Walk to your neighbor's house. And lift the chains that shackle your sick, your poor, your friendless. Lift your legs and move.
I can only go where you go. I want to go to those who don't feel me in their hearts. Let them feel me in your embrace. I want to go behind this barbed wire that keeps me out. Tear it down and let me in. I want to go in front of the cameras and look into the eyes who are embodied by listless fear. The fear that immobilizes. The fear that deadens the soul. I want to look back at them and smile. I want them to know that there is still hope and life.
Move! Move! Move!
Why is it so hard to believe? I don't know the answer to this question. But even those who go about holding holy books in the air, being interviewed on talk shows, and praying in pubic over court rulings and legislative decisions have a hard time believing in themselves.
Move! Move! Move!
Why Should I Bother Reading This?
I am Brandi. I am 28 years old. I am a medium. I am a healer. And I am a community activist.
I am a spiritual activist. I believe that lasting peace will come from within and above, and I don't believe that peace is silent and dormant. Peace is vibrant, creative, explosive, and fulfilling.
I believe that social change, social justice, and social healing can only begin when we truly understand how beautiful and powerful we all are-- all of us on this beautiful planet.
We all have gifts. Mine is the gift of clear hearing. I can hear the Universe clearly. It speaks to me. It calls for a new human experience, one based in truth, love and light. I will share that call here.
I hope to empower as many of you who pass through here as I can. I hope to help you understand that you are not separated from the Ultimate Source of Love and Freedom and Knowledge. It flows directly to, through, and from you. There is no reason to be afraid or alone because we are all one. I want you all to know that you can heal this planet, your loved ones, your "enemies" and your friends. I want you all to know that you are connected and that with the power of love, faith, hope and a little healthy risk taking we can change the pain we witness and experience every day.

As I do this, I hope to remind myself.
I am not a crazy person. I work a regular job, have a normal cat, and annoying siblings. I have neuroses and self doubt.
I am a normal girl, working hard to create a new normal where everyone talks to the Universe and has the power to heal, where magic does make sense, and where every activist is connected to something bigger than themselves, and where every spiritual person who is connected works to make the world a safer, calmer, more vibrant, and more creative place.
I'm just a girl, who is ready to make some noise, and who is ready to come out of the closet as a full fledge medium, and not only as a medium but a Spirit Talker, ready to use her gifts to bring about great healing and change.
